Loop theory — 5 second loop, no sound.

Loop theory asks what happens when a piece has no beginning. A chrome and pink möbius form rotates through a light sweep that resets exactly where it started, so the viewer never catches the seam.

Framing carries the weight here — the sculpture is held slightly off-centre so the negative space rotates too, giving the loop a second rhythm underneath the first.

It is still an in-progress system: the next pass adds a sound-led variant where the light sweep is driven by an audio envelope instead of a fixed curve.
